Eagle Railcar Services - Roscoe, Inc. is located 50 miles west of Abilene, in Roscoe, Texas and is served by Union Pacific Railroad. This facility is comprised of 36 acres with over 26,000 feet of track. The car repair and coating center is over 218,000 square feet, holding over 26 cars. This facility also has the capacity to hold approximately 400 cars on site.

Eagle prides itself on providing outstanding service and value to our customers. We offer various general shop services such as field and in-house inspection, including NDT Level II and CWI Inspectors. Eagle is AAR Tank Car Certified (M-1002) as well as Quality Assurance Certified (M-1003). Eagle’s services are billed utilizing our electronic billing system.

Eagle provides running and interchange repairs, Rule 88 rebuilds as well as service life extensions. Under Repair and Maintenance Services, Eagle also performs wheel bearing replacement and Granuflator bag repair and reconditioning. Eagle is 9A Certified and we have Union Pacific delivery with no switching fees to our customers.

Eagle offers outstanding facilities for tank car cleaning. The railcar cleaning and testing facilities are equipped with flaring systems and are permitted for the flaring of various compressed gasses. Eagle also provides cleaning of hopper cars and PD car cleaning. Water blasting services are also available. Valve and tank testing is done at both the Elkhart and Roscoe facilities.

Eagle performs unsurpassed painting and lining services, in our 43,200 square foot building. Eagle performs grit blast/limited sand blasting and plural component paint application in a temperature controlled environment for superior results every time. Eagle also provides exterior painting services and decal stenciling. Eagle also utilizes interior lining high bake technologies at the Roscoe Facility. 

Eagle can perform total wreck damage repair for railcars that have sustained various degrees of damage, this includes heavily damaged tank cars. Eagle ensures that cars are returned to the highest level of operation after receiving wreck repair services. Eagle will also perform JIC preparation if needed.

Eagle provides 24-hour dispatch for mobile repairs within a 300 mile radius from our Roscoe, Texas facility. Eagle can also provide NDT inspection services. Eagle performs interchange repairs in addition to running and valve repair services.

Eagle provides ultrasonic thickness and weld testing. Eagle can also inspect and repair safety valves, perform heater coil testing services, purging and nitrogen blanket services to clients.
